We are looking for a Purchaser to work with our Project Management & Fabrication shop teams to source materials, equipment and supplies while maintain paperwork flow and building long lasting relationships with customers.

Job Description:

·         Source materials, equipment, and supplies for the company's projects

·         Coordinate purchasing activities and set priorities to attain optimum quality, delivery, price, and terms objectives.

·        Participate in cost reduction activities and projects to achieve established savings goals for procured items.

·         Evaluate all quotes received from vendors

·         Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers including freight costs and other logistic issues.

·         Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure that the company is getting the best possible prices, delivery times, and quality of products

·    Initiate and issue purchase orders, change notices, and correspondence with vendors as required.

·       Manage inventory and ensure that adequate supplies are on hand to meet the company's needs

·         Monitor market trends to stay informed about changes in prices.

·        Control costs by finding ways to reduce the company's spending on materials, equipment, and supplies

·         Manage inventory process to ensure & ensure accurate records are kept.
